Tiltanium

Tiltanium is a fast paced mobile based puzzle game I developed as a challenge to create a game in a month. Users play as a ball navigating through dangerous obstacles while trying to collect gears before the time runs out.

Role

Tiltanium started off as a solo project with simple shapes as obstacles and collectables. I created the first iteration in a month Dec. 2017, but came back to it over a year later. The second time I purchased an asset pack and worked with an artist to update the art, added abilities, and a few new levels. 
Due to other priorities, this project has been placed back on the shelf, but I will likely come back to it in the future.

 Lessons Learned 

This project was not only my first mobile venture, but I learned how to use the accelerometer as well. Due to the increases in the speed of the ball and the physics system, I had to figure out how to properly cap the speed so it would not blow passed the colliders. There are also different abilities and stats based on the ball being used, with the swap happening in real-time.
